Black Ops 6 estimated release time with double XP and prop hunting in your time zone
Another weekend of double XP and prop hunting is behind us Black Ops 6 will come Wednesday, November 27.
While no official time has been announced, given the daily reset time – and the fact that games like Nuketown were added to the game earlier this month – it looks like it will be the following window:
- 9:00-11:00 PST for the west coast of North America
- 12:00 – 14:00 Eastern Time for the east coast of North America
- 17:00-19:00 GMT time for Great Britain
- 18:00–20:00 Central European Time for Western Europe
- November 28 from 2 to 4 a.m. JST in Japan
Both will also be joined by Stackout 24/7 and Hardcore Stakeout 24/7, as well as double Gobblegum in Zombies.
As for the end date of the Double XP event, since it is billed as a “weekend” event – likely coinciding with Thanksgiving – we have to assume it will last until the end of Sunday.
What is prop scavenging in Black Ops 6?
Originally mod from Modern War 2Prop Hunt first officially appeared in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remastered as a limited-time mode in Weekend Warfare before it was considered a indefinite game mode.
Since then, Prop Hunt has appeared in every subsequent Call of Duty title until 2020 Cold War Black Opswhere he last appeared.
To see how Prop Hunt performed in previous Call of Duty titles, check out this tumultuous but fun video from oldtime101: :
Prop Hunt follows the rules of hide and seek and you will be given the role of Prop or Hunter. As a prop, your task is to disguise yourself as an object found on the map and avoid elimination by blending in with the surroundings until time runs out. If you’re spotted, you can escape, disguise yourself as a up-to-date object, drop lure props, and throw stun grenades at Hunters. Be careful though, because you’ll be blowing a noisy whistle every 30 seconds to attract the Hunters.
As a Hunter, it’s your job to track down the Props, looking for anything out of the ordinary. Search for lost objects, objects running or even whistling and eliminate them by any means necessary. Whether you become a Prop or a Hunter, take some time to grind and enjoy the silly side of Call of Duty.
