July update

Published:

First off, I know things have been serene lately. We’re focusing on where we need to focus, so thanks for understanding. In this update, we’ll be going over Arcade updates, fundraising, and answering some general questions.

A quick recap of the fundraising. As many of you know, we have been trying to raise funds, but it has been very sluggish. We keep hearing that our product is forceful, BUT our numbers need to grow so that they know that what they are investing in will succeed no matter what. They have seen our partners, products and more and know that we can succeed, but as they say, the proof is in the pudding. For this reason, we are hunting for a larger user base, but without wasting a huge budget to do so. One of the first tasks is to attract as many people to our products as possible outside of our own ecosystem. The general public.
How we do it?

Attack Wagon goes mobile!

Arcade games go mobile!

Attack Wagon Games is coming to your phone soon. We will be releasing each game individually to generate more interest in the Play Store. Our goal has always been to bring slots to mobile, but when and how we did that has changed. We previously wanted to release everything with locked browser games, but the issue of browser cheating slowed that progress, which slowed our original goals for the phone app. Instead, we have decided to start releasing games on mobile sooner rather than later. We hope to release our first mobile game by September 1st, but we hope to push that date as soon as possible.

What does that mean exactly?

Well, we will release them as “free-to-play” games first to build a forceful user base, as we said above in the fundraising section, the key is users, not necessarily dollars of profit. So our “how” has changed to free games to build a user base while fundraising, and then upgrade them to full crypto games that we and partners can exploit. At that point, our partners will have the opportunity to release their own phone games that will allow their communities to exploit their own tokens while building $ATK in the background.

Many of you have asked why we haven’t restarted browser games. We’ve gone through them and cracked the bugs, tested and retested, but that’s not the only thing we’ve been working on. For each of our Arcade games, we’ve been trying to find the best ways to “hack-proof” them. We’re able to block a lot of basic hacks, and when we don’t detect them during gameplay, our system tells us if it thinks players have cheated in some way, so we can also remove dozens of players who don’t deserve to be in higher positions due to cheating. We’ve discovered over the months of play that there’s a glaring issue with a few games where you could write a basic script that would allow a player to cheat regardless of what blocks and back-end systems we put in place.

We’ve been working on up-to-date ways to stop these hackers, including adding more variety and randomness to games that could confuse scripts like this. These issues weren’t minor “fix and revert” fixes, but rather entire system reworks. Thanks so much for playing and helping us find these glaring issues. We’re still working on fixes and hope to have Arcade back in browsers soon, while we continue to work as tough as we can.

Betting?

We have no plans to end staking anytime soon, but we will be lowering the reward percentage starting September 1st. You will still have an incentive to stake, but it will be lowered so that we do not waste valuable ecosystem funds that will be needed in the future.

Scrap guilds?

As mentioned in our update, Scrap Guilds is currently on hold as we work on our fundraising efforts. We would rather release products that assist us raise more than drive a good game into ruin.

Rebranding?

This is a sedate matter. We have been talking to our current investors and a few potential up-to-date investors about this opportunity. We will provide updates on this and whether we will proceed with this. There is a good chance we will as we continue to talk to VCs.

I want to let everyone know that we are not going anywhere and plan to continue working tough to make this product one of the best web3 gaming projects. Thanks to everyone who continues to promote the project and assist where they can. Keep supporting us and being awesome.
