It was a long wait, but Football manager 26 beta it’s just around the corner. Officially known as the “Advanced Access Beta”, the slight change in terminology involves a complete overhaul of the game after it has been updated to the Unity engine.

To play the beta, you must pre-purchase the game on Steam or from an approved third-party retailer; however, it is only available on PC. A specific beta release time has not been confirmed. However, Sports Interactive revealed it “will be broadcast in the evening UK time”. Previous Football Manager betas have typically been released around 5pm BST, so it’s safe and sound to prepare for this. Here’s how this translates to your time zone:
- 9:00 PDT for the west coast of North America
- 12:00 EDT for the east coast of North America
- 13:00 BRT time for Brazil
- 17:00 Polish time for Great Britain
- 18:00 CEST for Western Europe
- 19:00 A for Eastern Europe
- 1:00 a.m. JST on Friday, October 24 for Japan
- 3am AEDT on Friday, October 24 for the east coast of Australia

Unfortunately, you can’t pre-download the beta version. As soon as the advanced access window is unlocked, you will be able to download it. Fortunately, Football Manager games are rarely very vast in terms of file size, so it shouldn’t take too long to get stuck into them.
