Desperate to see more of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster? You’ll definitely want to check out the presentation Capcom just announced

Published:

In case you missed it, Capcom casually revealed that the original Dead Rising was getting a remake yesterday. It’s called Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, and your first chance to see anything beyond the initial trailer will be during the just-announced Capcom Next summer showcase.

While this isn’t the only game coming out, it’s sheltered to say that the remaster will be the highlight of this nice stream, probably giving you a chance to say, “Eh, Frank definitely looks weird right now,” or “You know, I don’t mind how Frank Looks Now” – many times before it ends.

You’ll be able to catch the 2024 summer edition of Capcom Next July 1 at 3:00 PM PT, i.e. 11:00 PM BST and 6:00 PM ET. All you have to do is get up and press play on the video above when the time comes and you’ll be drowning in a video game.

Exactly 25 minutes of video gaming, with “first details” on Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, news on Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, and the release of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Capcom conveniently stated that “this event will not include news or updates for other titles,” specifically highlighting Monster Hunter Wilds on the website.

Perhaps we’ll get some gameplay or a release date for the remaster, though at least an indication of the platforms it’ll be available on sounds like a good bet at the bare minimum, even if the first two things aren’t.
