Well, I’m sure it’s been a relatively stressful week for many of us, even so far. But luckily, as Friday approaches, we have plenty of novel releases and additions to the best games to keep us all busy. The latest of these is HoYoverse’s Zenless Zone Zero, which is getting a major update with version 1.3 “Virtual Revenge.”
So what can you expect from the latest update? Well, to put it simply, lots of extra content. You’ll meet the Enigmatic Section 6, which specializes in fighting Hollow disasters, celebrate Settlement Days in the Outer Circle with Sons of Calydon member Lighter, and even explore novel areas with the HAND headquarters, the HSOS 6 office, and SÄ nZ STUDIO.
But that’s not all, because as we mentioned last time, those who just want more gameplay will have no problem. With all-new roguelike gameplay in The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault and a novel elimination tournament in the Simulated Battle Trial, you won’t run out of space.
Get in the zone
I mentioned earlier MiHoYo’s impressive balance of making significant content updates to its (currently) three major releases. However, I have already said almost everything I can about this update in our previous post.
However, I would like to note that the introduction of roguelike gameplay is engaging to me, although this is definitely not the first person to do so in their repertoire. I think there’s some engaging analysis to be had on the games released by HoYoverse and how their features stand out each year and period in which they were released.
