Zenless Zone Zero Anby build
Anby is a brisk fighter who deals Electric damage and as a Stun character, she inflicts the stagger status faster than others. Her skills are built around her hit stat and she benefits the most from weapons and upgrades that boost hit and energy regeneration. Her kit is easier to understand than other Stun characters like Lycaon, but unlike other Stun characters, she relies mostly on her EX special attack to deal the most damage and stagger – hence the need for energy.
Anby is best used as a support in a team with at least one primary damage dealer, though you can adjust her role to be a primary DPS if needed.
Zenless Zone Zero: The Ultimate Anby W-Engine
Anby is Stun type charactermeaning you’ll get the best results from using a Stun-type W-Engine. Similar to Honkai Star Rail’s Light Cones, a character can only exploit the W-Engine’s special effects if they match its Engine type, and the bonus effects usually outweigh any minor stat gains you might get from equipping an S-rank Engine from a different type.
As part of the ZZZ weapon tutorial you will receive a free W-Engine for Anby, Demara Mk II Batteryand it’s definitely worth keeping around for a while. It increases your Electric damage by 15 percent, has a nice little boost to impact from its secondary stat, and gives the character who equips it a large 18 percent energy regeneration buff when they successfully dodge or perform a supporting attack. Almost all of Anba’s utility comes from her abilities, so more energy is always a good thing for her.
Another advantage of the Demara weapon is that you can purchase additional copies from Suzie in New Eridu and quickly boost its damage potential.
If you want the best, you’re looking for an S-class engine, Restrained. Attacks that hit will boost the damage and stun of the character equipping them by six percent for eight seconds, and the effect can stack five times. Anby can quickly maximize these stacks with his brisk skills, and also benefits from higher base stats.
Six-shooter is another solid A-rank option that doubles Daze. It gives the user stacks every few seconds, and when he uses his EX special, it consumes all stacks and deals an additional Daze.

Zenless Zone Zero: The Best Anby Drives
Anby has several Drive Disc options and two combinations that perfectly match her skills.
The ideal set looks like this:
- Shockstar Disco Four Piece – Increases impact by six percent and causes basic attacks, dashes, and dodge counters to deal 20 percent more stagger
- Two Piece Swing Jazz – Increases energy regeneration speed by 20 percent
If Anby is your primary damage dealer, you can swap Swing Jazz for a two-piece Metal lightning a set that increases Arc damage by 10 percent. Sub-DPS Anby would benefit from a full, four-piece Swing Jazz set, which increases team damage by 15 percent after the character who equips it uses a chain attack or ultimate.
Two pieces Hormonal Punk is another option as it gives the user a 10 percent attack boost.
Zenless Zero: Anby’s Stats
Since Anby is a Stun character, she benefits more from impact, pen ratio, and anomaly mastery or anomaly proficiency than from attack and crit stats. Energy regeneration is also critical for her powerful EX special attack. In general, you should aim for:
- IV: Attack or Anomaly Proficiency
- V: Attack, Penetration Factor or Electric Damage
- VI: energy regeneration or influence
Her best secondary stats are:
- Hit
- Energy regeneration
- Mastery of anomalies
- Ability to anomaly
However, if you are using it as your main DPS ability, consider swapping Anomaly and Strike for Critical Hit Rate and Critical Damage.
