In addition to modern characters and events, Hoyoverse has used streaming to distribute codes as a reward you will receive free polychrome material and other upgrading materials.
The stream showed off upcoming characters Burnice and Caesar, two S-rank agents who are part of the Sons of Calydon faction. There will be a modern area to explore, and other members of the Sons of Calydon who were already in the game (Piper and Luciana) will be added to the Trust system alongside Burnice and Caesar. Version 1.2 will also bring modern events and quality of life improvements, including the ability to exceed the battery life limit (similar to how it works in Honkai: Star Railway).

You can redeem codes in-game by opening the menu, selecting “More”, “Redeem Code”, and then “Enter Redeem Code”. This menu will become available after completing “The Hare and the Proxy”, although some codes will not be redeemable until you reach Inter-Knot level 5 or higher.
They can also be redeemed online via Ground Zero without Zen website to redeem the code. To receive rewards, you must select the correct server and log in through the website. You will also need a working UID for Ground Zero without Zen. If you have never logged in Ground Zero without Zen in any form using a Hoyoverse account will not work.
