I’m just going to get it out there: Epic Games is preparing for this season Fortnite. Queues for loading and emotions related to the debut Fortnite The Simpsons update, it’s a great time to go back to the island. However, I am concerned about my V-Bucks with all The Simpsons skins available in the item shop or as part of the Battle Pass. Fortunately, it’s free Kang and Kodos glider which you can apply for now – there’s just one diminutive catch.
If you haven’t made it to The Simpsons Fortnite map yet, what are you doing? All of Springfield is waiting for you to discover, my friends. Bart Simpson puts on a mech suit, Ned Flanders keeps order, and you can even spot Kang and Kodos flying around the city from time to time. Fans of the alien duo can claim a free Kang and Kodos glider in Fortnite, provided connect your Epic Games and MyDisney accounts before February 28, 2026.
No, this doesn’t mean you need to purchase an energetic Disney Plus subscription or anything like that. Creating a MyDisney account is completely free, as is having an Epic Games account. However, if you’re not sure how to connect your MyDisney data to Fortnite, don’t worry. I can lend a hand you navigate Fortnite Creative’s countless tabs or menu settings to configure them.
- Visit the official Epic Games website, log in with your email address or PlayStation/Xbox/Nintendo account
- Go to on the Connected Accounts page. Click “Connect” under the “MyDisney Account” button.
- When MyDisney prompts you to link your account, click the “Link Account” button
- This will open a up-to-date tab in your web browser, go to that tab and accept the “Link accounts” prompt
- Once complete, the message “Your MyDisney account is connected” will appear and appear on the Connected Accounts page
After completing the above steps, the next time you launch the Battle Royale game, the Kang and Kodos glider will automatically be added to your locker. Not very arduous, right? You save a few V-Bucks in the process, considering gliders usually cost at least 500 V-Bucks in the item shop. You might as well save it for all the Fortnite skins that will be released in the next few weeks while The Simpsons is here.
There’s plenty to check out beyond Homer’s antics, whether you’re playing Fortnite on Steam or doing a quick session on Nintendo Switch. Epic Games is dealing with an issue with the Fortnite Augury skin, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to be fixed any time soon. At least until then, there’s time to get your hands on Fortnite codes.
