Xreal is already “working on the solution” for the destructive lack of Nintendo Switch 2

In the end I got my hands on Nintendo Switch 2, and the first thing I wanted to try was playing Mario Kart: World On my glasses Xreal One Pro.

Instead of a 7.9-inch portable console display, I would be able to race around a modern open world map on a massive 171-inch virtual screen (thanks to the 57-degree vision of Xreal One Pro). Everything in Full HD resolution with crunchy audio.

What more can the player want?

But the empty screen broke this dreams from me and a quick visit to Xreal Subreddit I confirmed my greatest fear: Nintendo Switch 2 is not compatible with AR glasses.

At least not yet.

I also tested my Rayneo Air 3s and Rokid Max 2 glasses with similarly empty results. Others tried to make a 2 switch and using the HDMI-to-USB-C cable or one of the outer switches of AR switches manufacturers manufacturers for console gaming glasses.

Nothing.

Fortunately, a member of the Xreal team entered to explain the problems and irritate the arrival of the amendment.

As for why Switch 2 is not yet working with AR glasses, they explained: “Nintendo has made some changes in the” time sequence “of the video signal in the new switch 2.

“This technical regulation means your Xreal One glasses, even with the XREAL account, can not temporarily recognize and process the video signal from the console.”

This type of problem with incompatibility is not new in AR glasses. In infancy, it was often stated that many USB-C devices were incompatible glasses because they do not use DisplayPort technology.

Fortunately, it looks like the solution may be on the way sooner than later, and the Xreal band added: “Our development team has already got Switch 2 and actively work on the solution.”

Xreal says that he hopes to develop a trouble -free solution and that the update “will not be long”.
