Published:

Microsoft has kicked off its Xbox Black Friday sale, offering expected discounts on consoles, accessories and, of course, a huge number of digital games.

It’s a balmy time of year for console shopping, so Microsoft is taking $50 off select Xbox Series X|S consoles over the next few weeks.

This will bring the standard Xbox Series X down to $450 and the base Xbox Series S down to $250. We’ll have to wait and see how these offers expand beyond the US, but it’s a pretty straightforward discount.

Xbox controllers will also be discounted, and a select range of gamepads will be reduced by $10, meaning they will cost $50 from November 21 to December 2 and then from December 13 to 22.

From November 28 to December 5, Xbox Design Lab controllers will offer free engraving on all purchases.

Standard for now, so I hope the discounted games will be more enjoyable. The discount covers over 1,000 Xbox and PC games.
