Wii Sports Center has reportedly sold just over 33 million copies since its release as, I would say, the most enjoyable multiplayer sports game on the Nintendo Wii. Every activity takes place on Wuhu Island, a great sports resort that was a pleasure to explore between events. Now, thanks to Wuhu Island Exploreryou can see it all with your own eyes.
Wuhu Island Explorer Is free pc game on Itch.io developed by AtomicLugia. They analyzed every possible part of the island, like we all did at one point, flying around and “playing” a dogfighting game or “riding” a bike in a race we definitely didn’t care about winning, and recreated it in Unity. AtomicLugia is the first to admit that this isn’t a perfect 1:1 port, and that’s okay. It allows us to finally fulfill our dream of stepping away from the sport of Wuhu Island and seeing every part of it in a way that’s now the closest we’ll ever get to in real life.

IN Wuhu Island Exploreryou have 8 Mii-like characters to choose from, including 2 inspired by the default Mii characters Wii Sports Center and 6 other guest Miis you’ll recognize if you played the game on original hardware.
When it comes to locations, Wuhu Island Explorer has it all, from Wii Sports Center map, updated with improvements made in WiiFitPlussuch as an updated castle and delicate tower. It even has Wedge Island, which is primarily used for golfing, and you can quick travel between the main areas to make traveling easier as you experience this nostalgia-inducing location.
Any fan of the game is in for a great time because they can finally drop their activities and explore one of the best locations I’ve ever seen in a sports game. I agree with user AkaiScarlett. “Best day of my life.” It’s crazy how many people, myself included, played for dozens to hundreds of hours Wii Sports Center and how we are all secretly fascinated by exploring Wuhu Island and not repeating all the sports in the game. I used to annihilate every member of my extended family at archery every Christmas, but I never explored the pretty caves on the beach where the most tough course was set.
Of course, this isn’t an official port of the Wii map to PC and isn’t affiliated with Nintendo, so you can download it completely for free. However, its life on Itch.io may be restricted, so it’s worth downloading it while you can so you don’t miss out on a much less vigorous trip to Wuhu Island.
