Where Winds Meet Wayfarer Locations: How to Unlock the Map

To see the larger Where Winds Meet map in greater detail, you’ll need to track down the wandering Wanderers scattered across the landscape.

These nomadic travelers have seen everything there is to see in Qinghe, Kaifeng and beyond, and can point out to your main character the locations of major landmarks, cities and settlements, as well as tasks you must complete during your adventure.

As a newborn ruler and aspiring martial artist living in the turbulent Ten Kingdoms period of Chinese history, who is canonically only 16 years elderly, your main character rarely leaves the city of Heaven’s Pier in the northwest of Qinghe.

To expand their horizons and unlock the rest of the map, here’s everything you need to know about the Wanderers and their locations in Where Winds Meet!


Where winds meet Wayfarer locations

To fill in the blank, black parts of the world map in Where Winds Meet and unlock more detailed versions of them, you must find and talk to every Wanderer in every region and subregion of Qinghe and Kaifeng.

Once you’ve unlocked the map by talking to the Wanderer, it’s much easier to navigate Where Winds Meet and collect the various resources and experience you need to progress on your journey.

For example, once you unlock the map, it is much easier to collect the Exploration XP needed to obtain the Glow Pendant and fly using the Light Skill in Qinghe.

Or face powerful World Bosses in search of Healing Stories that can be given to Yao Yaoyao in exchange for advanced healing potions.
