Silk flower in Genshin Influence can be found in two different areas of Teyvat. They are among the required building materials for characters like book lover Xingqiu and funeral director Hu Tao.
Silk Flower Genshin Impact Location
Silk flower can be found in Genshin Influence heading to the Wangshu Inn area. It is located in the Bushui Plain area of Liyue Region. Go west of Mingyun Village and south of Dihua Marsh to find it. There are two main areas in this section. Near the inn, look for red bushes on the ground floor outside. Silk flowers are collected from these miniature red bushes.
Once you have found them all, head across the bridge and you will find more Silk Flowers growing near the umbrellas and yellow plants in this section.
That’s not all though. Fast travel to Liyue Port. In the temple area west of town you’ll find a ton of Silk Flowers to collect. This is where Madame Ping is located, and this is near the waterfall. Head to the grassy areas and you’ll find these pretty flowers. Most of them are nestled in the nearby trees. Others are hidden behind rocks. You could argue that this is easier than finding Sprayfeather Gills and Wolfhooks.
Other ways to get silk flowers
Silk Flowers can be purchased from three different vendors in Liyue. Fengtai sells them in Yilong Wharf, Ms. Bai in Qingce Village, and Verr Goldet in Wangshu Inn. Quiwei is not in Liyue, but still sells Silk Flowers; he is in Port Ormos in Sumeru. Each of them will have five Silk Flowers. You can buy this resource again three days later.
You can get Silk Flower seeds from Tubby’s Realm Depot in Serenitea Pot and then plant them. You can only get five per week. You can also apply the Seed Pharmacy and gather them from the wild.
How many Silk Flowers are needed to climb Xingqiu?
To climb Xingqiu, you will need a total of 168 Silk Flowers, which is quite a lot. You will also need to obtain 46 Cleansing Hearts. You can obtain them by defeating the repeatable Rhodeia from the Loch. This boss summons annoying water-based enemies, some of which require a ranged character like Venti. You will also need to obtain the following items:
- 1 Varunda Lazurite Sliver
- 9 spare lapis lazuli fragments
- 6 Varunda Lazurite gemstones
- 9 pieces of Varunda Lazurite
- 18 damaged masks
- 30 colored masks
- 36 sinister masks
Masks can be collected by defeating hilichurls throughout Teyvat. Varunda Lazurite materials can be obtained by defeating Hydro Hypostasis, Hydro Tulpa, and Rhodeia of Loch.
