After a relatively peaceful season 11, Warnings 2The next season is going to be huge. Season 12 will introduce the all-new support champion Juno, two recent maps, and the official launch of a recent game mode, Clash, for Blizzard’s hero shooter.
Warnings 2 The main theme of Season 12 is inspired by Egyptian gods, with recent skins Bast Doomfist, Thoth Illari, and Anubis Reaper — this season’s Mythic — available through progression through the game’s Premium Battle Pass. Overwatch fans will also return to Anubis, with a recent Clash map called Throne of Anubis.
Juno isn’t the only thing that’s going to shake things up Warnings 2 meta this season; a ton of balance changes are coming to damage and support champions. Expect changes to Pharah and Lifeweaver, at the very least.
What time does Overwatch 2 Season 12 start?
Warnings 2 season 12 starts Tuesday, August 20. There is no official release date yet, but the in-game events usually start at 2:00 PM Eastern Time/11:00 AM Pacific Time in the United States, so we can expect something similar for the Season 12 premiere. This means the update will likely be available on the following dates:
- 11 am pacific time for the west coast of North America
- 2:00 PM EST for the east coast of North America
- 7:00pm UK time for Great Britain
- 20:00 CEST for Paris
- 3:00 JST August 21st in Tokyo
What’s recent in Overwatch 2 Season 12?
Warnings 2 players are already familiar with Juno, as she was playable in-game for a restricted trial period in July. But for players who missed the early preview of the No. 1 support champion on Mars, here’s a rundown of Juno’s kit:
- Mediblaster – primary fire
A burst-firing weapon that heals allies and damages enemies - Pulsar torpedoes – secondary fire
Targeting and firing homing projectiles that heal allies and damage enemies over time
- Slip reinforcement
Horizontal glide with increased movement speed - Hyper Ring
Deploy a ring that increases the movement speed of allies that pass through it. - Martian hoverboots
In the air, press the jump button to double jump and hold the jump button to hover in the air - Ultimate: Orbital Radius
Summon a beam that moves forward, healing allies and increasing their damage.
Juno will be available to everyone once Season 12 begins and will be playable in competitive play from day one.

Like Juno, Clash was previously playable in Warnings 2 in a restricted trial period—coming in April! In Clash, teams compete for five capture points, with each captured objective adding a point to the winning team’s score. Teams can win games in Clash in two ways: either by controlling all five objectives at once, or by scoring a total of five points before the other team.
In Season 12, Clash will be available on two maps: Hanaoka, which takes inspiration from the Japanese-set Hanamura map, and Throne of Anubis, which brings back the aesthetic and location OverseeFirst map: Temple of Anubis.

Warnings 2 players already know what it’s all about. The game’s Premium Battle Pass includes 80 tiers of rewards, including five Legendary skins (Bast Doomfist, Oni Ana, Thoth Illari, Dorothy Ashe, and Captain Sigma); 80 Mythic Prisms that can be spent on the Mythic Anubis Reaper skin, the Midnight Sun Ana weapon skin, or previous Mythic Cosmetics; up to 600 Overwatch Coins and 2,000 credits; and several other cosmetic items.
Additional skins for Mercy, Genji, Brigitte, Reinhardt, Pharaoh, Echo, Kiriko and Soldier: 76 will be added to the game Warnings 2 in-game store in season 12.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also receive a batch of skins as part of their membership. From September 17 to October 21 Warnings 2 Xbox Game Pass players who link their Battle.net account can earn Cardboard Reinhardt, Turtle Ship D.Va, Cyber Dragon Hanzo, Street Runner Genji, Bee Mercy, and Cleric Lifeweaver. They will also receive 30 Mythic Prisms.
Champion Balance and Competitive Mode Changes
Blizzard aims Warnings 2mobile damage champions — hello, Pharah — and support categories with reduced overall health. Additionally, Lifeweaver is getting “significant updates to improve the quality of Petal Platform and how it can be countered, along with changes to Healing Blossom and Rejuvenating Dash,” Blizzard says.

On the Competitive side, get ready for a rank reset “to give everyone a fresh start and a new chance to advance in Competitive,” Blizzard says. The developer also promises improvements Warnings 2“Evade as Teammate” and “Group Respawn” features in Quick Play.
In season 12, Warnings 2 players will receive recent Hero Mastery missions for Pharah and Zarya, and the return of Warnings 2 Anniversary Events. This means that Mirrorwatch and April Fools modes (and others) will return for a restricted time.
