When is the next Monopoly Go Battleship event?

The Battleship Monopoly Go event is based on the cult board game Battleship, which was first released in 1967. Like the original, the state-of-the-art version has two players trying to find where their opponent has hidden a fleet of ships and sink them all.

The next Monopoly Go Battleship event has not been announced yet, but there are rumors that it is about to begin Tuesday November 11, 2025. According to Go to the Rewards appand Battleship is part of this broader event.

How to play Battleship

The battleship is part of the Monopoly Go carnival games. To participate in the mini-game, you must collect at least 10 Carnival Games tokens. Before each match, you must determine where you want to place your fleet on the seven-on-seven grid. You can ask the Monopoly Go app to place your ships for you, or you can choose where to hide your ships on the playing field.

You will then need to press the “Play” button to match your opponent. When the match starts, all your opponent’s ships are hidden and you will have to fire missiles from your cannon and hit the squares on the grid one by one to reveal and destroy the fleet. However, you only get 25 rounds and there is also a timer. The player at the end who has destroyed the most ships wins.

• Avoid grouping ships together – Can make it easier for opponents to destroy your fleet if all your ships are grouped together.

• Remain unpredictable when placing ships – Try not to reuse layouts or choose obvious placements, such as placing all ships in the center or corners of the playing field.
• Make good utilize of the Mines and Treasure Bottles – Don’t place the Treasure Bottle right next to the ship as it may make it easier to find. Also place mines strategically, for example next to the ship or in places where the enemy could attack first. If the opponent hits a mine, he will lose an additional shot.
• Plan your shots – If you manage to land a successful punch, carefully plan the rest of your shots. Don’t try to shoot elsewhere on the net, stay in the area. Think about the layout of each ship you’re trying to sink, and utilize those layouts to figure out where to strike next.
