Mysterious countdown appeared on Fortnite on the island as Chapter 5 Season 3 ends, meaning there’s likely some mini-event to watch once that time is up.
You can find it in Brutal beachhead displayed as a hologram, but other than that, nothing else is happening around the timer itself for now.
Below, we’ve outlined the start times for your region, as well as what we know from data analysis about what might happen once the countdown ends.
Fortnite Live Event Time: When Does the Countdown End?
Based on what we see in the game, the countdown to the live event will end on Saturday, August 10th in most regions during the following hours:
- 11 am pacific time for the west coast of North America
- 2:00 PM EST for the east coast of North America
- 7:00pm UK time for Great Britain
- 20:00 CEST for Western Europe/Paris
- 3:00 JST for Japan/Tokyo August 11
- 4 am EST for Australia/Sydney August 11

In miniature, after this event, the map will likely undergo a compact change and it will be somehow connected to the upcoming fourth season.

Another data miner, McMistrzYT on X (formerly Twitter)rendered a 3D version of the map to show that this explosive item is: Pandora’s Box!
