When does Overwatch 2 Season 11 start and what does it include?

Published:

Season 11 With Overwatch 2 will be relatively less for Blizzard’s free-to-play shooter. Players won’t get a modern hero this season, but they will get a modern map, modern hero mastery courses, and the return of Pink Mercy.

Of course, there will also be a modern battle pass. Season 11’s theme is Super Mega Ultrawatch, with kaiju and tokusatsu-inspired skins for heroes like Genji, Reaper, and Sojourn. Ashe is the recipient of the Season 11 Mythic skin, which turns her into a Rita Repulsa-like persona.

What’s modern in Overwatch 2 season 11?

New Push map, Runapasi

Push’s first modern map in over 20 months, Runasapi, will provide players with a modern robot escort location in Season 11. Runasapi is set in the Peruvian Andes and serves as the hometown of support hero Ilari. Here’s how Blizzard describes Runasapi, which will be playable in Quick Play and Competitive Play this season:

Wander through markets full of fresh produce and visit the Historical Museum and the Inti Warrior Monument. This invigorating push map is full of life and challenges as you escort the TS-1 through tight streets. Be careful as some fights can take place dangerously close to sheer cliffs overlooking the bright farmlands below.

The next Push map, Colosseo, will receive minor reworks, including changes to structures near spawn points and the removal of glass barriers in the corridor in the middle of the map.

Season 11 Battle Pass and Mythic Skins

I hope you like the Super Sentai look, because Season 11 is full of googly-eyed heroes and Godzilla-adjacent skins for Genji, Reaper, Sojourn, Roadhog, Zenyatta, Wrecking Ball, and more. Mauga’s Holiday Appearance is also available as one of the skins included in the Season 11 Premium Battle Pass.

Lifeguard skins for Junkrat, Kiriko, Lifeweaver, Roadhog and Lucio

But if you’re not a fan of Power Rangers, Ultraman, Kamen Rider and tokusatsu stuff, there will be some summer fun too, Baywatchian is looking for Junkrat, Kiriko, Lifeweaver, Roadhog and Lucio. It has been confirmed that Kiriko’s Lifeguard and Lifeweaver skins will be sold in the in-game store.

The modern Season 11 Mythic skin goes to Ashe, who has a variety of villainous looks under her Mythical Empress of Calamity skin.

In Season 11, Blizzard will introduce a modern type of Mythic cosmetic items: Mythic weapon skins. The first of the gates will be Reinhardt’s Mythical Chained Demon weapon skin, which will arrive on July 23 and will adorn Reinhardt’s rocket hammer with the demon’s fury. Like the Mythic Hero Skins, the modern weapon skin type costs 50 Mythic Prisms, and additional levels of customization can be unlocked with 10 Mythic Prisms. Improvements include a weapon bloom emote, takedown VFX, and reactive effects.

Champion Reworks and Mastery Courses

Blizzard is beefing up champions in all three roles, but Cassidy is getting the biggest change of all. His magnetic grenade leaves and his Flashbang returns. The modern version of Flashbang will tardy down enemies instead of completely stunning them.

Kiriko and Soldier: 76 will receive modern single-player Hero Mastery courses in Season 11, and players will be able to participate in a limited-time challenge with them from June 20 to July 9. Thanks to this, you will earn modern rewards and up to 22,500 Battle Points Donate XP.

2024 Summer Games and Transformers

There’s both the Summer Games and a mysterious modern Transformers-themed collaboration Overwatch 2 July 9.
