Baldur’s Gate 3 is two years venerable, and for the celebration of Boss Larian, Swen Vincke, briefly discussed how his huge success paved the way of studying to work on his heated, expected next game. But don’t hold your breath to reveal: Vincke called fans to be patient because Larian “needs some time to make everything work.”
The Dungeons & Dragons Baldur’s Gate 3 role playing game was a breakthrough hit in 2023, dominating online and sales discs. His wild success was for Larian, and he was still working strongly within two years of the premiere, and the models assist to drive seemingly endless interest of RPG, especially on Steam.
Vincke said Ign in September 2024. The success of Baldur’s Gate 3 meant that Larian was now in a “luxurious position.” And he can “choose your own destiny and your own path.” The developer shocked the world of video games when he announced plans to create completely fresh games outside the Universe Dungeons & Dragons, instead of following the 3 Baldur gate with DLC or continuation. Vincke said it is now difficult to work, realizing this vision.

BG3 allowed us to do our next crazy thing. How will you guess, but I assure you that we work hard, so that you have some fun. How really – a lot of this surprising way. And I can’t wait to show you. But you’ll have to be a patient.

In April, Larian finished the Baldur’s Gate 3 updates Huge patch 8, which added 12 new subclasses. Its release caused a rapid growth of the player when the fans gathered to test new subclasses, as well as a new photographic mode.
At that time Vincke Tweet Saying that Baldur’s Gate 3 will “still do well for a long time”, not only because of strengthening patch 8 player, but because of the “flourishing” mod support.
IN Post on Steam Published today, on August 4, Larian said that since the introduction of MOD support in September 2024, players sent over 8,500 mods to Mod.io and reached 265 million mod downloads (“of which over 250,000 downloads are on the occasion of Big Naturals – we just thought you wanted to know”).
This continuous success, in turn, gives Larian a “place to focus on making our next great thing as good as possible,” Vincke continued. “We have gigantic shoes to fill.”

“We are developing our plans for the future and what we will do with it,” said Ayouble. “And actually, in a fairly low time, we will have something to say.”
Ayoub did not provide any further information about whether these “things” would be a full Baldur gate in the works or some crossover, like the heroes of Magic: The Gathering earlier. He admitted, however, that in the end I want Baldur 4 gate, even if the performance probably takes some time.
“It’s a bit unimaginable,” he said. “I mean that we are not in a hurry. Is it? This is what we will do a very measured approach … We have many plans, many different ways to do it. We start thinking, okay, yes, we are ready to start immersing your fingers at the feet and talk about a few things.
