Fallout: London has proven to be a huge success with fans, and it seems the team behind it wants to continue working together and making their own games.
It’s been a long time coming, but the highly anticipated Fallout: London mod finally landed last month and has been incredibly well-received so far, including by our own Mark, who reviewed the DLC-sized mod and gave it four out of five stars. Of course, despite having to deal with various bugs and promising more content down the road, the Fallout: London team has plans beyond their massive mod. The mod’s project lead, Dean Carter, recently spoke to the BBC about the aftermath of the project, discussing how the team is feeling about its release and what’s next for them (thanks, PCGamesN). Interestingly, Carter shared that he “hopefully” they’ll start their own indie studio to pay the bills.

“It’s going to be completely our own thing, and we can make the game we want, that we think the community will like. Fallout: London was a great springboard for that.”
Carter again noted that Fallout: London will be getting “all the content that we had to cut for release. We have another ending that we’re calling the Wild Card ending – that’ll be in a future patch. It’s not going to happen anytime soon; we could imagine working through the end of the year.”
Mark recently spoke with Carter about one of the biggest issues in the modding community: paid mods. You can read about it here.
