Ground Zero without Zen patch 1.2 is coming soon, bringing up-to-date characters and story. This patch will formally introduce us to the Sons of Calydon faction in Tour de Inferno, alongside two up-to-date faction characters: Caesar and Burnice.

What time will Zenless Zone Zero be closed for maintenance?
Ground Zero without Zen will be taken down for maintenance on Tuesday, September 24 or Wednesday, September 25 (depending on your time zone) during the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:
If you want, be sure to burn through all your stamina before the maintenance starts, but keep in mind that a up-to-date Battle Pass will launch after the maintenance, so you may want to hold on to it (or just spend enough to stay under the cap).
What time does Zenless Zone Zero version 1.2 start?
Ground Zero without Zen should return from maintenance with version 1.2 on the following dates:
Servers may come out earlier or later depending on how maintenance goes, but these are the approximate times that 1.2 should go live. Hoyoverse is usually pretty good about keeping to maintenance hours. We usually don’t have extended maintenance, but sometimes it ends early! Maintenance usually ends an hour earlier, but it’s best to expect it to come out when Hoyoverse says so you don’t get too bullish.
What’s up-to-date in Zenless Zone Zero version 1.2?
The patch will add Burnice and Caesar, two S-rank agents who are part of the Sons of Calydon faction. There will be a up-to-date area to explore, and other members of the Sons of Calydon who were already in the game (Piper and Luciana) will be added to the trust system alongside Burnice and Caesar.
Version 1.2 will also introduce up-to-date events and quality of life improvements, including the ability to exceed the battery capacity limit (similar to Honkai: Star Railway).
There will also be an event where you have to solve puzzles related to food, a up-to-date mini-game will be added to the game, and other events that will support you fill your pockets with polychromes.
