What time is Genshin Impact maintenance?
Genshin Influence will be down for maintenance Tuesday, July 16 or Wednesday, July 17 (depending on time zone) at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:
- July 16th at 3:00 PM PDT for the west coast of North America
- July 16th at 6:00 PM EST for the east coast of North America
- July 16 at 22:00 GMT for Great Britain
- July 16 at 23:00 CET for Western Europe/Paris
- July 17th at 7am JST for Japan/Tokyo
- July 17th at 9am Australian Eastern Time for Australia/Sydney
If you wish, remember to burn off the resin before beginning any maintenance work.

Servers may come up earlier or later depending on how maintenance goes, but these are the approximate times that 4.8 should be up. Hoyoverse is usually pretty good about keeping up with maintenance hours. We don’t usually have extended maintenance, but sometimes it ends earlier!
What’s novel in Genshin Impact version 4.8?
This is a typical large summer event before a novel region launches. While players will be excited about Natlan on the horizon, there will be a novel, limited-time area to explore, full of mini-games and opportunities to earn Primogems.
Dendro’s novel five-star champion, Emilie, will debut this patch, while Navia, Nilou, and Yelan will all receive replays, so if you missed them, now’s your chance. Nilou and Kirara will also receive two fairytale skins to celebrate the summer event.
