Want to own a functional replica of the Dark Knight’s Batmobile? Do you have a spare $3 million? Then I have great news

We all dream of owning a Batmobile at some point, and soon 10 (very wealthy) people will be able to make it a reality.

With so many different incarnations of Batman, each of us will have our favorite Batmobile, depending on when we grow up. Batman: The Animated Seriesbut that shouldn’t be a surprise considering I grew up watching it as a child. Newer versions have a more military look, due in part to the Tumbler version of the Dark Knight. It’s not my favorite and I wouldn’t want to have one, but it doesn’t really matter because it turns out I couldn’t afford it even if I wanted it. This is because Wayne Enterprises, a very real company based on Batman’s civilian persona, Bruce Wayne, I am selling a real Tumblerfor the low, low price of $3 million.

No, this isn’t a joke and yes, it really is a functional car that you can drive around in… well, sort of, since it’s not particularly road legal, but if you’re a car collector with a lot of private land, you can probably safely go there go. This is absolutely ridiculous, and there are only 10 of them being made, so you had to register to even be considered a buyer (applications closed last month, unfortunately, so if you’re stupidly wealthy, 1. why are you even reading this, you have so much money that you should spend your time differently, and 2. you’re out of luck).

I’m not even going to pretend to understand what all the specs mean, but when it comes to the engine heads, you can check them out on the website for further details on the engine and all that. Mostly I’m just surprised that something so extravagant exists, but when the rest of the company is into jewelry, watches, and an AI robot (I’m starting to feel like this place is only for the wealthy), maybe I shouldn’t be. I think I’ll stick with my stupid toy cars, thank you very much.
