When buying banks of the memory of my game career, I don’t know if I have ever felt so directly caused by the video game. I am not a successful warrior, such as Alta’s hero, or I do not have her personally destructive for success at all costs. But I know exactly how he feels, both as a generally restless person who doesn’t really know how to relax, and as a player who doesn’t like cozy games, who suddenly found himself in one. Wanderstop has technical shortcomings, which sometimes divert attention from greater experience, but as an introspective study of the nature of the drive through the video game lens, it perfectly uses the medium. Alta’s experience is worth reviewing – even if you are not interested in working in a tea room.

Wanderstop comes from minds for the parable of Stanley and a guide for beginners. This heritage contradicts the belief, but Wanderstop is exactly what he has always claimed: the story about a warrior trying to build a recent kind of life. Alta was an undefeated warrior, but after unexpected failures, she got lost in the forest on her way to training with the master and ends in a mysterious tea store. He is not a prisoner there, but he feels like one when he tries to fill his time to everyone to return to the right track. Wanderstop is joining Alta with this complacency journey and I liked all writing because it was often as funny as melancholic.
The process of creating tea includes plant cultivation and manipulation of a gigantic capricious machine that serves as a central element of the hleb. Wanderstop is not an agricultural sim. Growing plants is a matter of feeding and solving elementary puzzles of patterns and I appreciate this approach. Instead of maintaining a petite garden and hope that you have what clientele wants, each request sets a petite mission of cultivation and collecting. Makes relationships with each client specific and unique. I have always been excited when a recent person came to the store and I willingly found out what they wanted and if I could do it. And the smart trick of the game is that Alta is slowly taking the same sentiment as history.
From time to time I fought with the technical process of inserting fruit and seeds and manipulating the tea machine. Wanderstop is not great to play, and I hit at least one mistake of breaking the game (which, I hope, was solved until you read it), but, on his player, he focuses on writing and there is straightforward access to this part of the game.
Initially, Alta is restless and uncertain what to do with myself, and I felt exactly the same way. My brain of the action player quickly completed every task ahead of me, and when I asked the store owner, boro, what next, he kindly said whatever you want. It was the moment when it connected me directly with Alta and meant that I again examined my emotional approach to Wanderstop – an impressive video feat on mixing fruit and tea leaves in boiling water.
Wanderstop does not imitate the same fourth wall of a breakthrough revelation of previous work of the Ivy Roads developer, but what is impressive is what Alta’s adventures are about. I admire the game for using the convention of video game genres to tell a thoughtful, comical and surprising story set in a charming place with pleasant characters. Observing how Alta is growing and accepting its restrictions will remain with me and make me think about the inability to turn off and just relax. I appreciate every art that makes you think this way, and Wanderstop is successful for this purpose.
