Sega and Two Point Studios They announced another game in the Two Point expanded universe: Two Point Museum. Further actions Two Point Hospital AND Two Point Campus The game will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but no release date has been announced yet.
This is the type of game where the name pretty much explains it all. Two Point Museum is a management game in which you run a museum. You have to send your employees on expeditions, collect all kinds of historical curiosities, and then arrange them in such a way as to convince people to empty their pockets.
The up-to-date addition to the series is children. It turns out that residents of Two Point County are not simply born adults, but there was no maternity ward in Two Point Hospitalso how can we be sure? Including youngsters gives you the added challenge of keeping them away from shows and dealing with school trips showing up at your door.
I got a hands-on preview ahead of this announcement, which should be here at the same time as this post. I found it to be more in line with a tycoon game than the previous ones Two points games without sacrificing what makes the series unique.
As an unreasonably enthusiastic fan of the series, I always wonder what will happen next. While a museum was definitely not high on my wish list, this one fits in well. For one, the series seems to be focused on making money off institutions where profit should not be the goal. I still dream of a spiritual successor, though. Movies (which studio head Mark Webley and a few others were working on at Lionhead) or something like that. Hell, I’d love to see something completely out of the studio’s control room, like “Two Point Kart” or “Two Point SWAT.” A girl can dream, but right now I’m ecstatic with anything.
Two Point Museum has been announced for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. No release date was given.
