TOZO Golden X1 Review – “Feel Like Luxury”

Published:

  • LED battery level indicator inside the case
  • Options to customize audio and touch movements
  • Elegant and fantastic design

You know that moment when you get something and the packaging itself is dripping with luxury? Well, when I opened the magnetic box on the side of the TOZO Golden X1 packaging, I knew I had something that wanted to be luxurious. The box itself was the first example of this. Inside the miniature earbuds there is a component breakdown printed on the side of the box, information throughout, and a vast booklet inside the cover. You feel like you’re getting a premium product in your hands.

Impressive appearance

I have the blue version of the TOZO Golden X1 which is a airy blue. The charging case matches the color, with TOZO print on the top. It has a USB-C plug on the back, so you can charge it in the case on your desk. When you close the front of the case, you will see a miniature airy showing the charge level.

After opening the case, you can also read the charge level in the form of digital numbers. I haven’t seen this happen before in any case and it’s very engaging. The earbuds attach well with magnets, and with the lines you can see the individual charge of each side. You can also see the case itself that charges them. It’s just very advanced technology.

Inside the box

The TOZO Golden X1 set comes with 5 earbuds of different sizes that can be connected to the headphones, as well as a classic tiny USB to USBC cable. The earbuds seem quite budget-friendly compared to the rest of the included equipment, but I think it’s nice to have so many sizes.

Just headphones

In-ear headphones reduce noise and do a great job at it, especially considering their smaller size. I’ve reviewed other in-ear headphones that were much larger to block out noise, so it’s nice to have a smaller pair that does the job. The sound quality is also absolutely fantastic.

Once in your ears, you can tap their stem to pause the music or play the next song, making them very convenient for everyday exploit when you’re out and about. In fact, you can reassign all touch controls via their app, using ten different touch options, five of which can be changed. there are also a few different modes you can put the earbuds in, including a wind reduction mode, although I didn’t feel like there was a real difference between these modes.

Speaking of the app, while you don’t have to download it and can leave the TOZO Golden to see what frequency bands you hear and to better tailor the sound to your ears. This is very engaging and also affects the sense of luxury of the entire brand.

Battery life

Inside the housing of the TOZO Golden x1 in-ear headphones

All I care about is how much time I can gain without having to plug in my earbuds. The case itself can hold a 24-hour battery, while the earbuds provide a maximum of 8 hours, although this depends on volume and usage. It’s not fantastic, but it’s not bad either, especially with the LED display in the case that keeps you better informed about battery life.
