From the creator of Turbo Overkill, the survival horror Total Chaos is no longer “coming soon”, it is now available! Total Chaos is available on PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and is also available from day one with Xbox Game Pass. Steam VR support is expected to arrive in the second quarter of 2026.
It’s an impressive trailer for the game, with some deeply unsettling visuals and perspectives, taking place in a first-person horror mode and aiming to combine classic and state-of-the-art horror sensibilities.
Over 9 chapters journey to the heart of Fort Oasis, you’ll rely on both melee and ranged weapons along the way, building recent weapons from scrap and foraging along the way.
Your journey will be accompanied by a soundtrack featuring a recent original theme from Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka and an ambient soundtrack from composers Jason Dagenet and William Braddell, and Apogee’s Tim Stoney, Chipper Hammond and Mathieu Hallouin.
Total Chaos has its roots in a state-of-the-art total conversion of Doom II. First created by Sam in 2008 and developed from 2012 to 2018, Total Chaos has now been completely rebuilt as a completely standalone experience and expanded from six chapters to nine.
