Tomb Raider and the show’s beloved character, Lara Croft, are almost 30 years ancient. This statement sends a shiver down the spine of every Millennial gamer and we can’t believe it either, but age is just a number as the series continues to bless us with amazing, fast-paced action and puzzle solving, and even some revelatory storytelling. as the years go by. Tomb Raider perfected the “hot young main character goes on an ancient quest” trope back in the ’90s, and games like Assassin’s Creed and Uncharted probably wouldn’t exist as we know them if it weren’t for Lara Croft and her dual-gun wielding, Olympic — standard somersault, effortless toughness.
With nearly thirty years under its belt and a staggering 100 million units sold, three of the most beloved – and undoubtedly divisive – Tomb Raider titles are being remastered for Switch and other platforms, launching on February 14, 2025. Valentine’s Day to you too, Lara. The three-game collection includes remastered editions of Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles, and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, all for a measly $29.99. That’s a bargain if you ask us, but we’d be curious to see if The Angel of Darkness manages to sneak onto our list of the best Tomb Raider games given its original reception.
Perhaps that’s why developer and publisher Aspyr gave it some much-needed shine after the success of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered. Aptly titled Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, this latest pack will launch the next three adventures of Lara Croft with a whole host of improved graphics and current controls. Although if you’re anything like us, you’ll happily go back to the OG graphics whenever you find the right switch. We love the blocky main character – have you seen how many Roblox codes we have!?
Discover the lost tomb of Set in 1999’s Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation and put an end to an archaic prophecy that threatens humanity with endless darkness as you journey through Egypt and face punishing puzzles and a literal god of disaster. Once you’ve put Set in his place, you’ll be able to try out fresh mechanics like sneaking and tightrope balancing – our hands are already sweating – in the remastered version of Tomb Raider: Chronicles. Then comes 2003’s enhanced version of Angel of Darkness, which finds Lara on the run as she uncovers a deadly conspiracy and unholy alliances. It wasn’t initially met with much acclaim, but perhaps the remaster has a few tricks up its sleeve for us.
You can pre-order the trilogy pack on the Nintendo Store, but if you’re itching to dive into the dungeons now, you can check out our review of Tomb Raider Remastered I-III as well as our preview of Dark and Darker Mobile. If you’re looking for treasure elsewhere and regularly dive into a similarly blocky world, we’ve got plenty of Roblox codes, including the latest Dress to Impress codes, Anime Vanguards codes, and Lost Souls codes.
