Oh, that was annoying. Every day Wordle presents you with six rows of five boxes and it’s up to you to decide what secret five-letter word is hidden inside them.
You’ll want to start with a forceful word like ALERT – something with lots of vowels, common consonants, and no repeated letters. Press Enter and the fields will show you which letters are correct and which are incorrect. If the box turns ⬛️, it means that this letter is not in the secret word at all. 🟨 means the letter is in the word but not in that position. 🟩 means you have the right letter in the right place.
You’ll want your second attempt to be a follow-up to the first, using another “good” word to cover any common letters you missed last time, while also trying to avoid letters you now know aren’t present in today’s answer.
Then all you need to do is apply what you’ve learned to narrow down your guesses to the right word. You have a total of six tries and can only apply real words (so you don’t have to fill in the EEEEE fields to see if there’s an E there). Don’t forget that letters can also be repeated (e.g. BOOKS).
