It’s been a year since Palworld went into early access, and today a roadmap was revealed showing plans for future updates.
Sorry, has it been a year since Palworld was released? Holy mackerel that passed quickly. Pokemon with Guns obviously isn’t as popular as it was at launch, but it’s constantly releasing updates. Of course, there has been a bit of a hitch lately with the Pokemon Company/Nintendo lawsuit, but hey, that doesn’t stop him from adding more to the game! The game’s official Twitter account revealed the future roadmap for a number of currently planned updates for the game, which includes several highly requested features from fans.

To start with, in terms of major updates, co-op crossplay will be coming to the game at some point, as well as a world transfer option for your friends. There will also be a final boss and ending scenario at some point, as well as more ways to power up and upgrade your friends. There will also be more friends and tech elements, and most interestingly, gaming collaboration (plural), which means Terraria, announced last year, isn’t the only one it has up its sleeve. And of course there will be more improvements to things like basic Pals, UX, placing objects in the world, and overall UX.

Now you may be wondering, “when will this all come to the game?” and to that all I have to say is: I don’t know! The roadmap consisted largely of a “this is what we’re working on” list, so you’ll get it when you get it. However, Palworld is getting its first global popularity poll, so you can vote for the Pal you think is the best – I’m betting on a guy who looks like Totoro and can always be found carrying a Gatling gun.
