Nintendo has added three up-to-date games to its Game Boy Advance Nintendo Switch Online library, and while none of them are Mother 3 (or a Pokémon game, Astro Boy, Drill Dozer, or any of the other GBA games we’ve been buzzing about), they’re nonetheless fascinating and completely unexpected.
Starfy isn’t exactly a well-known franchise for American gamers. They’ve received four games—three for the Game Boy Advance, one for the DS—but only the 2009 DS game has been released in America. Currently, the three original Game Boy Advance games are available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. The games retain their original title, Densetsu no Stafy, and haven’t been localized. The gameplay has been described as Kirby-esque, but I’ve never been able to confirm that until now.
Do you plan to launch these classic platform games set outside of America?
