This year’s Game Awards nominees have been revealed, next year’s RPG announced looks great, and more of the week’s top news

This week, Geoff Keighley graced our phones and laptops to reveal which games will be competing for honors at this year’s Game Awards. Games like Astrobot AND Black Myth: Wukong were among those who scored a few nods while Dragon Age: Guardian of the Veil was almost completely closed (although this is likely pretty good explanation of this).

Additionally, we learned that Sony is taking steps to acquire FromSoftware, the studio responsible for games such as Elden’s Ring AND Transmitted through blood. And we spent six hours with Obsidian Notoriouswhich will be released early next year, and has emerged confident that he is on track to be among the best in 2025.
