IN Fallout 76, Nuclear Codes are weekly codes that allow you to launch a nuclear weapon in the Appalachian Wasteland. When codes are reset every Sunday evening, any codes stored in the player’s inventory will be deleted. Each code consists of eight digits corresponding to one of the three nuclear launch sites in the game: Alpha, Bravo and Charlie. Since each code can be used by any player while lively, the community meets weekly to decode the codes so that individuals do not have to do so.

In addition to bombing other players’ camps for fun, nuclear weapon launches play a key role in ending the game Fallout 76. After bombarding an area, some of the highest level enemies, loot, and mutated flowers appear in the newly created blast zone. Some bosses, such as the Queen of Scorched Beasts, only appear when certain areas are destroyed by nuclear weapons.

How to exploit nuclear codes in Fallout 76

Each player is able to exploit regions bombed by other players, but in order to launch their own nuclear missiles, certain prerequisites must be met.

Here’s what you need to do to exploit nuclear codes to launch nuclear missiles:

  2. Become a member of the Enclave faction
  3. Complete the Enclave quest I am I Have Become Death (This works as a tutorial for the startup process)
    1. Alternatively, having a teammate fire a nuclear weapon will automatically complete the task for you.
  4. Get the Nuclear Card – Using the tracking terminal located in the Whitespring Congress Bunker, you can start a repeatable mission to track down the transportbot carrying the Nuclear Card.
  5. Go to any of the three nuclear launch sites: Alpha, Bravo, or Charlie
  6. Battle hordes of high-level enemies at the starting point. (Prepare for level 50+ robots)
  7. Enter the weekly nuclear codes at the top of this page that correspond to the nuclear launch site where you are located. (E.g. alpha code only works for alpha launcher site.)
  8. Choose your target and launch your nuclear missile
