This season’s Pokemon Sleep Halloween event will welcome Mimikyu and Pikachu with a themed hat

Published:

  • Expect more Ghost-type Pokemon to appear
  • Pikachu (Halloween) and Mimikyu join the fight
  • Get more candy for a circumscribed time

The Pokemon Company invites you to celebrate Halloween this month even as you earn those Zs, as Pokemon Sleep welcomes more Ghost-type Pokemon with higher spawn rates into the game. If you’re lucky, you might even meet a special Pikachu ready to trick-or-treat with a cute Halloween hat.

In the latest Pokemon Sleep update, you can expect to earn Handy Candy S from time-limited tasks, as well as earn twice as many candies from valuable sleep research. From October 28 to November 3, you can expect increased rate increases for Pikachu (Halloween) and Mimikyu, as well as higher spawn rates for Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Shuppet, Banette, Drifloon, Drifblim, and Skeledirge.

Remember that you can employ Mimikyu Incense to encounter Mimikyu: Dozing on Greengrass Isle and Old Gold Power Plant. In the meantime, you can employ Pikachu Incense (Halloween) to research this cute cutie’s sleep styles, which you can earn by completing time-limited missions during the event.

Finally, during Halloween itself and the last day of the event, you can earn triple that amount of candy during your first sleep study of the day.
