This RTX 4060 1TB SSD desktop gaming PC costs just $699 – a Black Friday steal

While we’re massive fans of building your own PC and even keep a list of the best PC builds, sometimes it’s cheaper and easier to buy a pre-built desktop PC. This is one of those moments. Currently, Walmart has the iBuyPower Desktop with Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU, Intel 13600KF Processor, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD for just $699.

With these specs, you should be able to easily play games at 1080p at max settings. You can get a constant frame rate even with ray tracing enabled at 1080p. The 1TB SSD inside should provide the space needed to install at least a few enormous AAA games.

iBuyPower calls this desktop PC the SlateMeshI5N4602, perhaps because the case has a glass and mesh front panel. The system puts on quite a nice airy show with four RGB fans and an RGB pump on top of the CPU. By the way, this system uses a 240mm radiator to frigid the CPU.

Speaking of the processor, the 13600KF is an unlocked, overclockable processor that can reach a Boost speed of 5.1 GHz without any adjustments. It has 14 cores, 6 of which are performance cores.

The 13600KF is mounted on a B760 motherboard with built-in 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) Wi-Fi. It supports up to 64GB RAM but comes with 16GB DDR5 memory. There is also a 750 W power supply on board.

If you tried to build it yourself with parts, you’d probably spend $200 more. The RTX 4060 is worth at least $299 and the processor is around $175. Add in a case, cooler module, RAM, SSD, power supply, and motherboard, and even if you get the low-cost versions, you’ll likely spend at least $900, and that’s before you even get Windows 11 for free or low-cost.

We didn’t exactly test this desktop, but we did test the RTX 4060 and compare it to the competition in our GPU benchmark hierarchy.

As you can see, the RTX 4060 compares nicely to the AMD and Nvidia cards above and below it. It delivered a solid 84 fps with ray tracing turned off and a playable 41.7 fps with it turned on.

If you’re looking for an affordable gaming rig that can play games very smoothly at 1920 x 1080 resolution, this is a difficult deal to beat.
