Fortnite this year, it’s going all out for its annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares. Horror icons like Jason Voorhees appear on the island, but for some it’s something completely modern I fortnite the skin is worth spending the V-bucks. Who is she? Why does it cause a storm among players? One thing I know for sure: she’s not the first Meg that comes to mind.
It takes a lot to unnerve me with anything Fortnite-related. After all, it’s a stupid, crazy battle royale game where almost any movie, TV show, or musician can be part of the story. However, every now and then a very bad skin comes along, and for me Peter Griffin from Family Guy is one of them. Epic Games’ muscular recreation of Quahog’s best dad is both eyebrow-raising and hilarious in one go, so when I see news of a Meg Fortnite skin arriving, my hopes for another Family Guy collaboration rise.
Imagine my surprise when I open the Item Shop and find the aforementioned Meg, an adorable character who loves all things feline. It’s even included in the Meowscles of a Boxer set, named after the adorable humanoid calico cat and member of SHADOW, a rogue mercenary faction operating in the shadows. Yes, Fortnite’s story involves spies and agents working against each other, Cold War style. This is incredibly stupid, but I will absolutely eat it up.
Give me comical knowledge every day. Either way, Meg will stay here, at least for a few days. You can go to Item shop now and get Meowscles of a Boxer for 1,500 V-Bucks or just Meg alone for 800 V-Bucks. It’s certainly one of the cheapest skins in the game, as the Scooby Doo and Shaggy bundle can set you back a whopping 3,400 V-Bucks. This is also at a discounted price as it usually costs 8000.
There are a lot of mysteries in the history of Meg. Other than her being called a “cat’s meow” in the Item Shop description, we don’t know much else about her past. She may also be a part of SHADOW, but in the game’s ever-changing history, the most eminent Meg is Megalo Don – the leader of the Wasteland Warriors from Chapter 5, Season 3.
