Civization 7 is officially here, and with it (at least for now) “mixed” review status on Steam and many complaints about the 4x strategy user interface. While we keep up with the latest news and events CIV 7, the community was also busy: the first Mode CIV 7 arrived on the same day as the global premiere of the game.

This is a occasional opportunity in which I do not direct you to Mods Nexus: Early mods that appeared for CIV 7 Civfanatics.com Forums. There are not many of them yet, but there are definitely a few to notice.

Immediately outside the gate there are several mods that apply to one of the largest complaints about CIV 7: User interface. The CIV 7 interface is earnest: I saw Steam reviewers calling him “buggy”, “inconsistent”, “garbage”, “total catastrophe”, and the most condemingly, “somehow worse than Civ 6.”

Firaxis has already issued a patch to deal with several complaints on the user interface and I suspect that it is coming more, but in the meantime you can check Simple corrections of the Sukritact user interface. I haven’t tried it myself yet, but he has only 5-star ratings on the forums. Here is a quick summary of its functions:

  • The chart yield icons are smaller on tiles that are not improved/worked
  • The view is strengthened.
    • The default improvement is currently displayed on unchanged tiles.
    • All constructions now display their icon.
    • Miracles receive a enormous fancy icon with a description.
    • The buildings now notice if they are damaged, in progress or timeless.

Another mod is also focused on improving the user interface: TCS improved feature floor It adds a lot of more information, so it’s easier to find what you need, including the status of a leader’s relationship, billing property, flags for dated or unique buildings, districts and other useful curiosities that you can spy on at first glance.

If you are a willing broad bean and you are interested in immediate satisfaction, check CIV 7 Unlock all CIVS mod. Thanks to this, you no longer have to meet the requirements to access civilization when you achieve exploration and contemporary centuries, they are all available immediately.
