So you like to drive brisk, huh? Well, unfortunately for you, the law says that speeding is illegaland even on a race track you’ll be lucky to see anything over 150mph unless you’re in something crazy exorbitant. The easiest way to get up to speed would be to take a few the fastest roller coasters in the worldbut what if even the fastest rollercoaster in the world isn’t enough to satisfy this need?

The obvious solution is to book a ride on one of the fastest trains in the world. Unfortunately for our US readers (95 percent of you), the US doesn’t have high-speed rail because that would be communist, so experiencing any of these trains will require a bit of international travel. Then again, who wouldn’t want to see France at nearly 200 miles per hour? And that’s not even the fastest train we could find.

Click to plan your next vacation or just be gloomy about the lack of trains in the US.
