The second EA Sports FC 25 update will hit PC first, and you won’t be able to get destroyed by a second-division team controlled by console players until they get it too

The second title update for EA Sports FC 25 is now available, but will initially be released exclusively on PC, with cross-platform play between that platform and consoles currently on hold until Xbox and PlayStation users receive it.

So, if you were hoping to play a match tonight with your friend who’s on the opposite side of the fence, and to shore up his defense by taking advantage of the freakishly world-class pace and dribbling skills of some 62 right-backs, it looks like you’ll have to wait.

“Please note that after the release of this HERE, cross-platform play on PC will be unavailable until this HERE is available on other platforms in the near future,” EA writes in notes Down title update number twowhich is now available for download on PC.

In case you’re wondering, these are the issues it fixes, and the game modes affected by the various fixes are in bold because of the formatting.

General, audio and visual:

  • Sometimes button inputs were not recorded when performing menu operations.
  • Controller compatibility issues when using Steam Input.
  • Steam Input must now be enabled before launching EA SPORTS FC 25 for it to work as expected.
  • Stability issue sometimes occurring in all online modes.

Best Team:

  • Stability issue when accessing Team Battles.
  • Fixed stability issues in the Store.
  • Unintentional UI elements sometimes appearing on screen.
  • Adjusted the message displayed after confirming the start of an evolution.

Career:

  • Resolved cases of manager career stability issues.
