The recent Apple Games application application is now available on Mac and iOS 26 compatible devices. Dedicated hubs bring long -term functions to Apple Arcade users and enables Mac users to launch each game installed from one application.
In June at Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple Games is to operate as a comprehensive center for every game that players downloaded to Apple devices. After a public beta test, the application is now live with the Apple iOS 26 update. It is available on compatible iPhones, iPads and Mac.
Apple games are more or less connected by game and arcade cards in the App Store, but they also consist of several recent functions. The home card will show you a carousel of activities in current games, the Bar Continue Play and other useful widgets, such as Apple Arcade recommendations and games that other friends play. The library card will not only show you what games you have now installed on your device, but every game you downloaded in the Apple ecosystem, including those that have been deleted. (Looking at you, Flappy Bird.)
In the case of Apple Arcade users, a vast function is that in the end you have a way to see every game in the service listed on the poem List – a function whose service launched in 2019 has never had so far. The search for games in the App Store is also more convenient, because only games, no application, will not appear in search results.
The application also brings recent social tools through the Friends tab. Players can now create non -standard challenges in supported games that are integrated from the Games Center. You can, say, create a high result challenge in Ninja fruitSetting, which friends can compete, how long the challenge is busy and how many attempts each player receives.
The MAC version of the application has an additional trick. It will automatically show all games installed on the computer, regardless of whether they come from the App Store, Steam, GOG or anywhere else. All these games can be directly launched from Apple games, thanks to which it is a versatile starting.
While many of these functions seem so obvious that it is surprising that they were no longer available on iOS devices, Apple Games shows that Apple will not finish expanding sluggish but constant pressure on games. The integration of Arcade Heavy Apple indicates that the subscription service still remains, even when Apple continues the main publishers such as Capcom and Ubisoft to transfer its games to Mac.
You can check Apple games on the iPhone, iPad and Mac and watch with horror when you discover what the first game was that you have ever downloaded on the iOS device.
