This movement appears because many video games raising the prices of everything from consoles to accessories to games, and price increases affect in particular in the US among current fluctuations of tariffs and uncertainty. Last month, Sony implemented a price raise in the US on his equipment, and after the release of Nintendo Switch 2 at 450 USD, Nintendo raised the price of its original switch 1 and various accessories. It also affects video games: Xbox raised prices for Game Pass at the beginning of this year, Mario Kart Tour launched unprecedented with 80 USD, and Xbox announced that he would also introduce $ 80 games in this holiday … Although he withdrew from this decision shortly afterwards (the Xbox spokesman confirmed that he would ignore that this will remain in this case, there is no 80 USD in this case).
Earlier, we talked with experts of analysts on the rising prices of all elements of the game and explained that all these price increases are probably due to the combination of production costs, competition and competition and American tariffsWith the latter critical in cases where prices are rising in the USA and nowhere else. Earlier, the Entertainment Software Association issued statements about the impact of tariffs in the USA, and ESA spokesman Aubrey Quinn told me in April: “It will have a real impact regardless of the company. This is the company’s agnostics, this is the whole industry. It will have an impact on the entire industry.”
