The open-world RPG that looks like “Anime Spider-Man meets GTA” continues to have the best trailers

Project Mugen has been revealed again 2023 as an open-world fantasy RPG about people with superpowers investigating strange anomalies that threaten their urban paradise. Think Genshin Strike in Manhattan with Spider-Man-like a transition. On Thursday, it received another awesome-looking trailer and a recent name.

Project Mugen will now be invoked Ananta when it arrives on PlayStation 5, PS4, PC and mobile devices in the future. It still looks attractive. At first glance, it may seem indistinguishable from miHoYo Honkai: Star Railway and the recent influx of other big-budget, anime-style gacha RPGs, but even if it looks like “another one of those,” it looks damn good.

In the meantime, running down The X-Files– Just like supernatural phenomena and monster fighting, there are aerial platforms, street racing and tons of mini-games. The game’s creators from NetEase and Naked Rain promise a combination of kung-fu movie action and everyday socializing in the city. Today’s trailer also begins pre-registration for a game that I believe will have several closed and open betas leading up to release.

Ultimately, though, it won’t matter how good it is Ananta looks and feels like its neat world and frosty designs serve the all-encompassing gacha grind that seems to be the way of all large, free-to-play, blockbuster RPGs these days. Honkai: Star Railwaywhich seems very similar in many respects, is a good game as long as you don’t mind having to constantly auto-fight hordes of enemies to fill up all the meters you need to actually engage in its progression.

We’ll find out where the RNG grind and microtransaction spectrum falls Ananta it falls when it finally comes, which hopefully will be quite soon.
