Mind’s eyeanother “AAA” game from the previous one GTA AND Red Dead producer Leslie Benzieswill be published by Hitman developers IO Interactive as the studio’s first foray into third-party publishing.
Announced in 2023, Mind’s eye is an upcoming “story-driven action-adventure thriller” set in “near future” America. The game is directed by Leslie Benzies, who previously worked and produced many Rockstar Games games, including: Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne 3and everyone Grand Theft Auto game since GTA3. In 2016 Benzies claimed he was forced out of Rockstar and sued Take-Two’s parent company for unpaid royalties. In 2018, Benzies announced his next game, Everywherefrom his recent studio Build A Rocket Boy. Everywhere is an MMO game based on Unreal technology which allows users to create their own games and experiences within it. AND Mind’s eye is built by the studio using Everywhere tools.
On October 16, Build A Rocket Boy announced that it is partnering with IO Interactive for publishing Mind’s eye on consoles and PCs. Interestingly, although this was initially planned Mind’s eye you will only be able to play in Everywhereit looks like that won’t be the case anymore. However, IO Interactive’s Hakan Abrak explained it Mind’s eye is still being developed using the “same technology” and “same engine” as Everywhere.
“We have concluded a publishing agreement Mind’s eye” Abrak said IGN. “They are still working on it Everywhere product, but that’s something that applies to Build a Rocket Boy. So there will be more communication about the synergies and connections involved. But our contract and publishing cooperation continue Mind’s eyewhich itself is a full AAA universe.”
On the official one Mind’s eye websitegame platforms include PlayStation, Xbox, CoupleAND Everywhere. The game has no release date.
