Let’s get to the point. The Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta will take place next week on the following dates and times, and PS Plus subscribers will receive two days of early access.
- PlayStation 5 with early access to PlayStation Plus – October 29 at 03:00 GMT – October 31 at 02:59 GMT
- PS5 (non-PlayStation Plus), Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam – November 1 at 03:00 GMT – November 4 at 01:59 GMT
PS Plus and Xbox Game Pass subscriptions are not required for the wider open beta starting November 1, but will be available for the full game next year.
The open beta test will consist of three parts: a complete character creation tool (which you can carry over to the full game), a trial version of the story from the beginning of the game with tutorials and a Chatacabra hunt, and a free Doshaguma hunt where you can chase down a herd of Doshaguma or explore the Windward Plains.
It will feature full cross-play across all platforms, and participating will reward players with an additional pendant to decorate their weapon or Seikret mount in the full game.

And then up-to-date gameplay reveals and details from the stream. Capcom immersed itself in the Oilwell Basin, named after the boiling oil wells found in the region. They can create firestorms during periods called Firespring, making the world itself hazardous!
Here, the newly discovered brutal wyvern Rompopolo (not as cute as it sounds) is on the prowl, expelling toxic gas to weaken its prey, both from its mouth and injecting the gas into the tar on the ground. Lovely. Ajarakan also live here, both species often competing for territory. The Ajarakan is a fanged beast with a broad shell covered with armor to protect against high temperatures.
In this region you will be able to visit the village of Azuz, in the center of which there is a massive forge and where you will hear the story of the Black Flame lying under the pool.
Monster Hunter Wilds is scheduled to launch on February 28, 2025, with the long-awaited monster hunting sequel coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
