For the first time since the legend of Zelda in 1986, the namesake of the series is finally a playable hero. The wisdom echoes are not a spin-off or an entry without a canon in the ongoing legend, but rather the right game Zelda filled with dungeons and puzzles. Exposing the Hyrule version as Zelda is overdue and efforts have been made to make sure that he has been a sense of Zeld’s game, and at the same time undeniably tries something novel. Echo lacks the scale and size of the previous Zeldas, and its basic mechanics lose the couple at the end of the adventure. However, on a sufficient number of other fronts, it has gained that he absolutely earns a place in the heritage of one of the most undeniable video franchises.

Echoes Big Hook is the ability of Zeldy to clon and exploit almost every enemy and object in the game to achieve their goals. This means a typical Zelda item, and even extends to hesitation in the sword, which Zelda herself does not do technically. Zelda uses clones to solve its problems and are invigorating in exploit in many ways. Finding novel cloning items is invigorating and becomes a humorous game game; Considering ways of using some enemies (such as catching a bat to fly to the gap) is satisfying.
However, I found when I went beyond the point in half the way that I had a handful of clones, which I used to bypass almost every task. I was still excited about finding novel enemies and objects for cloning, but I was largely relying on older faithful. The dungeon design also suffers from the approach of cloned and element, because I have experienced fewer and fewer revealing moments. I did not solve novel puzzles in a unique way, so much that I was wondering how to exploit the same gigantic yellow platform with the eye knob.
The fight generally expanded me. The taste of my enemies to watch them fight is not particularly invigorating. Zelda has the ability to temporarily manage the link and using the sword (and other items), but it was also not particularly satisfying, because it became a ripcord, which I often pulled when I was bored watching my clones fighting. Fortunately, boss fighting provided a bit more creativity and I have always eagerly taken them.
Where the original mechanics Echoes lost a couple during the adventure, the general presentation never lost charm. By borrowing the style of the last game Zeldy Grezzo (Remake Awakening Link 2019), character designs and the world are extremely cute. The music is fantastic and, as is often the case with Zeld, the topics are known, but they are approaching a novel wonderful direction. Echoes has one of my favorite Zelda Oldworld motifs. The narrative also presents humorous surprises and, fortunately, it does not stay too long at the opening accent, for which I was grateful, because I am sure it would be exhaustive, that it would be a full game line.
Studying this world (with an excellent soundtrack) is strength. The open nature of the dungeons sometimes made them feel unnecessary and without challenges, but the opportunity to go outside was welcome. The 2D Zelda Games usually suffer the most in the open world, because it is here that they feel the most narrowed where they should not, but it is not in echo. Exploration is not only fun and open, but there are often rewards for landing in places that you previously considered unavailable.
The echo of the presumed goal of Wisdom was to find a cheerful medium between the inflexible lines of the classic 2D Zelda and the experimental openness of the wild breath and the tears of the kingdom. The agent between them exists here, but eventually I felt brought in both directions, not feeling fully satisfied. Sometimes I wanted to be able to experiment more, and sometimes I wanted to experience the joy of solving a specific puzzle with a specific object. But in the end I could experience Zeld’s full, proper adventure, without the need to explain: “You play as a link” and I am grateful for this experience.
