Woot! (owned by Amazon) just lowered the price The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom for Nintendo Switch for just $44.99. This is already the best price we’ve seen for the latest Zelda game on Switch, but the modern Woot! Customers can utilize $5 coupon code “ZELDAWIZHOME” to further reduce the price to $39.99. If you are an Amazon Prime member, you can also enjoy free shipping, otherwise you will have to pay $6.
This is a physical copy that includes 90 Days of Woot! guarantee. The game box you receive may or may not be imported, which means you run the risk of receiving a PEGI or ESRB copy. Functionally, it doesn’t matter because all Nintendo Switch games are region-free and you’ll be able to play them regardless. You don’t have to worry about the language either, as the language setting is determined by the Switch console, not the game disc.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Check out our review of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and see why this game received an “Amazing” rating of 9/10. In it, writer Tom Marks states: “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is much more than a flashy spin-off led by Zelda instead of Link. Summoning Echoes is a clever concept used to combine the expertly crafted dungeons, puzzle rooms, and item progression you’d expect from a classic-style 2D Zelda with the borderline freedom of Tears of the Kingdom. This experiment doesn’t produce an entirely perfect result, with some clunky menu management and combat that just isn’t possible. it’s not as engaging, but it’s still impressively successful. Echoes of Wisdom is also a great example of how a modern 3D Zelda can recapture some of what fans like me miss in the pre-Breath of the Wild series, without any sacrifices. Aside from the intoxicating creativity she introduced, if this is the future of Zelda, I can’t wait to see more.
Is it worth waiting for Black Friday?
As Black Friday approaches, we’re sure to see many more Nintendo Switch games on sale. There is a chance that other sellers will reduce the price of Echoes of Wisdom to $44.99. However, if you can get this game for $39.99, you should jump on it. I highly doubt you’ll find another retailer selling a physical copy of this game at this price since it was released on September 26, less than two months ago.
