Overall, I didn’t encounter too many bugs Dragon Age: Guardian of the Veil. It was a pretty polished game at launch. But of course, pobody is nervous and Curtain coverThe latest patch happens to fix two specific things that were bothering me.
First: “New rings can now be compared to both equipped ring slots.” This is amazing news for me as someone who is only halfway through this video game and is in the process of collecting and equipping up-to-date items. Like many RPG games before it, Curtain cover allows your character to equip multiple rings, each with different magical upgrades, but when you get a up-to-date ring, you cannot first compare it to both rings you already have. It could only be compared one equipped rings at once. Annoying, of course, already fixed.
Here’s my second piece of good news: “Fixed some cases of unintended music or sound effects playing.” This probably solves the only significant bug I’ve encountered while playing Curtain coverwhich only happened once, but involved that super catchy battle music continuing to play after I had long since defeated my enemies. After walking around town for over 20 minutes, I finally just went back to the lighthouse and that was it At last stopped. Thank God that happened because I really didn’t want to turn off the soundtrack completely. It’s handsome – and, incidentally, composed by Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe.
The full patch notes includes a wide range of fixes, including many references to issues that didn’t concern me, such as “Rook’s body shape no longer changes unexpectedly after a cutscene with Emmrich” and “Fixed weird facial expression when Rook first meets Emmrich” ( it made me laugh and I kind of regret not seeing them in action). It’s worth scrolling through the full list I’ve included below to see if any of your personal bears qualify. I’m glad mine did.
