The initial load on the second open beta test begins on February 5, 2025 (Wednesday) at 19:00.
Both sessions will contain identical content, so we hope you will join the hunt when you can!
OBT2 contains the same content as Okrod, which took place in November last year: character creation, a story attempt and a Doshagma hunt.
After the killing of Doshagum, hunters can still enjoy different hunting that are waiting for you on the Windward plains.
In OT2, hunters can face Gypceros: a poisonous bird that is well known from the series because of its clever and unique behavior. We hope you like to take this recurring monster in the OBT2!
Otmij your first chance to receive Arkveld, the flagship monster Monster Hunter Wilds. Arkveld appears in a more hard advanced task specially adapted to OTT2. We encourage qualified and confident hunters to take on this hard challenge.
The training area is now available in OTT2 and you can access it from the base camp. Improve your skills with different weapons, preparing for hunting at the front.
It should be remembered that the OBT2 does not reflect the full list of adjustments and corrections to the actions and balancing of weapons that will be presented in the full release of the game.
In OTT2, hunters can create a private lobby that cannot be found by searching, ideal for hunting for a specific diminutive group. In addition, a single online player mode is also available, which allows you to play solo without joining the lobby. In this mode, you can also temporarily play multiplayer using Flare SOS.

OBT2 is available to all PS5 players and PlayStation Network account, regardless of whether you have a PlayStation Plus subscription.
