11 Bit Studios has revealed a novel DLC for Frostpunk 2 called Fractured Utopias. The studio also confirmed when players will be able to dive into the novel content, giving Fractured Utopias a December 8 release date for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series XS.
Fractured Utopias in Frostpunk 2 will give players eight novel faction utopias, with each of them fighting for what they believe to be their ideal society and arguing over their different visions. There will be 12 unique unlocks per faction, including laws, HUBs and skills, as well as eight variants of residential districts. The content will also be enhanced with 100 novel narrative events to navigate, a novel map and two novel premium stories called Doomsayers and Plague.
In our Frostpunk 2 console review, Dom said: “Frostpunk 2 remains one of the most compelling city builder and survival games in memory, and has survived the console transition in exceptionally strong form. That said, if you have the option to play it on PC, it remains the best place to play.”
