The first image of Marvel Rivals Blade and leaked information from the game suggest the premiere of season 2

Marvel Rivals fans can now get their first look at upcoming playable character Blade and even find out when he’ll be playable thanks to a fresh leak.

First revealed by X/Twitter user Miller Rossthe image of the Blade is from the in-game gallery card that will launch with Season 1. The image also features Ratatoskr, a giant Asgardian squirrel beast. Developer NetEase Games has not yet announced Blade as an upcoming playable character.

According to the game’s story, recent villain Dracula “defeats” Blade and Ratatoskr, but the Fantastic Four, who will appear with the premiere of the first season this week, are ready to save the day.

Based on this image and story, fans are speculating that by the end of Season 1, the Fantastic Four will have defeated Dracula and saved the Blades, making him available as a playable character for the start of Season 2.

Blade was leaked as an upcoming playable character before its official release. Vampire hunter is part list of revealed characters this appeared before the December premiere of Marvel Rivals. This list includes Mister Fantastic and Sue Storm, both of which will be released when the first season premieres on January 10.
