The first EA Sports FC 25 title update is now available and should prevent the game from losing stability after a penalty shootout

EA Sports FC 25 is out and about doing something, even though it won’t be fully released until September 27th, and people are already embracing the various additions and tweaks it brings to the established kick-the-ball-in-the-back-of-the-net formula. In fact, the game’s first title update only dropped today, September 25th.

Yes, pause the soundtrack for a moment and come here. This update isn’t that gigantic, but it still includes a few changes that should aid iron out issues reported by users early on, paving the way for future updates that will offer even more gigantic improvements.

As you can read in notes Update number one for FC 25, which is now available for download on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as PC, introduces three changes.

When it comes to Ultimate Team, the following issues were raised: “players could become stuck on the objectives screen after using the switch shortcut from the store” and “instances of stability issues that could occur after a penalty shootout.”

Yes, it looks like the game could be just as affected if someone ruthlessly touches you after you see you miss your last penalty and then kicks you in the head. Another fix aims to fix “a few cases of stability issues that could occur during key match moments and tournaments.”

While it’s nice to have them, there are a lot of gamers on Twitter and Reddit hopefully more fixes will come soon. Some people say they still have problems accessing the ten-hour free trial game before its release, what EA says it’s working on and what it’s already done a workaround has been published in the meantime, although of course this is not a perfect solution.
